Educated in jazz and classical music, he also expanded his education by musicology and ethnomusicology. The marriage of these two paths is a determinant of the style of his work both in terms of composition and performances.

Trio Glossia, formed in late 2022, is a Denton and Dallas- based jazz ensemble. Steeped in the traditions of original composition as well as free improvisation, their sound draws on influences including avant-garde/free jazz, harmolodic funk, rock in opposition, chamber music, and hard bop.

Bomb City Hall is a Denton-based all-vinyl DJ duo featuring DJ Zealous and Wild Wata.
Zealous digs into the darker edges of trip-hop and acid jazz, while Wild Wata brings warmer funk, soul, and international grooves.
The duo first came together two years ago at Vinyl Lounge, now The Pony, on Hickory Street. Returning to where it all began brings a Bomb City Hall full circle

Describing themselves as an “experimental, community funded street cleaning service” hailing from the street corners and subway stations of New York. Broom is a music collective whose sound utilizes the avant garde and soaring atmospheric sonic textures.
